You can still be the manager from a distance and hire local services to handle property management and other functions. If you want matters to remain confidential you can use a nominee manager so your names do not appear on the internet. As assistant manager you can still provide management services. As we are unable to manage the properties personally, how could we handle the paperwork, on-site communications with agents, contractors (to repair/rehab houses) etc.? Can we use registered agents/ realty agent/ law firms to act on behalf? Which will be more cost efficient? I also like to keep mine & my partners' name private (away from public records), to be frank we hold a civil servant job in our home country and are banned from "side lines" or having businesses; thus we want to avoid being detected and lose of ours jobs.
